Chris Trombley was born on Long Island and grew up in the tri-state area, so the galleries and museums of New York City were a constant pull. Their proximity allowed for frequent visits! Trombley was drawn to this wonderful world and her mother enrolled her in a summer art camp to satisfy her hunger for art. She has experimented and enjoyed working in many mediums, such as clay, fiber, watercolor, collage, and mixed media.

Of late, Trombley has been exploring acrylics and collage, finding herself both energized and taunted by the characteristics of the mediums.
