Fabio Costantino was born in Naples in 1945, where he attended the Fine Modern Art Academy. At the beginning of his career he was heavily influenced by the work of the Renaissance masters and his paintings were classical in style.

His subjects are treated in a very personal and particular way: reality as he sees it filtered through dreams, memories surfacing from the unconscious. The result is remarkable.
