Luc Tessier was born in Drummondville, Quebec, in 1960. A multidisciplinary artist, this self taught painter is also a photographer and a musician by training. From a young age, he was drawn to the visual arts. He began classes in plastic arts around the age of 5. The years passed and art became an intrinsic part of him in various forms: music, photography, cabinetmaking, drawing, as well as painting.
In 1981, after obtaining a college diploma in professional music (classical and popular guitar), he gave numerous shows before becoming a songwriter, singer, guitarist, bassist and keyboard programmer for a progressive rock band.
In 2007, his trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands heightened his desire to share his vision of the beauty of these countries in photography.
Since 2011, Luc has invested himself full-time in creating and researching new themes and mediums.
"What I want to express with my work is energy, joy, happiness. I want to surprise the viewer and surprise myself at the same time. Create a fireworks display, a bonfire."
