Chaim Meroz was born in Kibbutz Kvulsat Yavne, Israel in 1937. Painting both figurative and landscape style pictures, his work is filled with an ever-changing array of hues. Meroz, who studied painting extensively, calls himself an "aquarellist without rules." He breaks away from tradition by allowing the viewer to enjoy the pure aesthetic experience of his work, according to each individual's interpretation.
