Roman was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, where he began his early exploration of the visual arts. His journey later took him to Israel, where he continued his education in design at the esteemed “Askola” College of Design. Over the years, Roman built a successful career in the creative industry, serving as a graphic designer, art director, and brand designer for several of Israel’s top companies. Despite his professional accomplishments, his passion for painting eventually called him back to the canvas.
From a young age, Roman was captivated by the enchanting world of Impressionism. The influence of Russian masters and French Impressionists left a lasting imprint on his artistic development—an inspiration still evident today in his rich color palettes and emotive brushwork.
Roman’s paintings are quiet observations of the human experience. Rather than offering critique or escapism, his work gently reveals the subtleties of everyday life and the complexity of human emotion. Through expressive strokes and evocative scenes, Roman invites viewers into a thoughtful journey—one that resonates with feeling, familiarity, and reflection.
