Sarith paints in acrylic and oil on canvas and paper figures of childhood and family with the personal identity of most of them erased. Each girl or family symbolizes all the people who were lost in the Holocaust and are a symbol of the period.
Sarith uses photographs of children who were murdered in the Holocaust, which she tries to bring to life through an optimistic painting, when she imitates the characters she adds royal clothes, crowns and festive dresses.
The paintings have a deep red hue that hints at the tragic theme and they present human figures, mainly girls and boys, with a personal toy that together convey a dual feeling; on the one hand a painful drama and on the other a commemoration and a lasting intergenerational connection.
