Tanya Naiman, born in 1952 in Voronezh, Russia, began her artistic journey with a classical education at the Minsk School of Fine Arts and later earned a master's degree in mural painting from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. With a strong foundation in anatomy, live model painting, and classical perspective, she mastered techniques such as fresco, stained glass, mosaic, and icon painting. Her talent led her to work at the national film studio Belarusfilm, participating in numerous international festivals while continuously creating and exhibiting her own artwork.
In 2003, Tanya immigrated to Israel, dedicating herself fully to painting. Inspired by the humanistic traditions of Renaissance and Baroque masters like Michelangelo, Botticelli, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt, she focuses on depicting the human body and the interplay of light and shadow. Her oil paintings, characterized by multiple transparent layers, have been showcased in solo and group exhibitions across Israel, the USA, the UK, Russia, and Belarus, and are highly valued by collectors worldwide
